Privacy statement
Under Data Protection legislation, and for the purposes of this document, the Trustees of Rainham Christian Fellowship act as the “Data Controller” and the Church Secretary acts as our “Data Protection Officer”.
We collect personal information to enable the church to keep in touch with you and provide pastoral support as appropriate. Data Protection legislation allows us to process this information in line with the church’s legitimate interest, as regarded by the Data Controller.
Your name and contact details will be entered into our church’s electronic records, which are password protected and accessed only by a limited number of approved people, primarily the Church Secretary. Any paper copies are kept in a locked filing cabinet and destroyed if no longer required (or on your request).
We do not share information you may have provided (e.g. via our website Contact form) with anyone, including other members of the church congregation, unless we have specifically contacted you for consent.
